The place was clean and brilliant, had lovely friendly staff with caring management. Its location in Kendal was favourable, not far from a garden area, Oxenholme railway station and the outskirts of Kendal: )

Travelled with my dog, spent 1 night here and had a perfectly pleasant stay. I had central heating, tea and coffee making facilities, and a work desk in the king room. Location: the hotel was close to the restaurant, the Station Inn and trains. Liked food selection, meals where splendid and they have a good choice of options.

Particularly good and perfect location for Kendal, adjacent to a lovely pub up near Oxenholme Station outside Kendal, Windermere, and both Ambleside and the coast. Nice big room, very comfy bed and nice size bathroom...

The kids enjoyed playing darts at the inn, while we appreciated the cozy family room. The food was also fantastic, and we indulged in a great meal. It really was great!
In my wife's opinion, a pull-down pole for the blinds would be handy for kids' bedtime.
